Show Me Your Glory

There is a deep and ancient cry in the heart of every believer, a longing that echoes the words of Moses, Show me Your glory. In Exodus 33, Moses stands before the Lord and pleads for more than blessing, more than guidance, more than provision. He longs to behold the very presence of God. This request reflects a faith that seeks not merely what God can give, but God Himself.

When we come before the Lord with this same desire, we step into a long and sacred tradition. The people of God have always sought His face, trusting that true transformation flows from communion with Him. To ask God to reveal His glory is to open our hearts to His holiness, His mercy, and His steadfast love.

In our sermons and our lives, this simple prayer invites us to turn from distraction and return to the One who shaped the heavens. It encourages us to stand still, to listen, and to allow the Lord to display His goodness in ways that humble us and strengthen us.

May our preaching and our living be marked by that ancient cry, Show me Your glory, for in His presence we find hope, purity, and renewed purpose.
